Raitua struck in the 10th minute when Wilson Rebello's snap shot saw rival goalkeeper fumbling with the collection and a lurking Adlear Soares pounced on the rebound which ultimately turned out to be the match winner.
Socio Cultural Club of Loutolim had their chances but Brison Fernandes and Prisco Mascarenhas frittered away from good positions. The Loutolim team nearly fetched the equaliser when Velroy Fernandes sped past the rival rearguard but Raitura goalkeeper averted the danger.
At the other end, Raitura could have doubled the lead in the dying embers of the opening session but Charlton Pereira's freekick sailed over the crossbar.
With the time running out, Loutolim looked dangerous through their set pieces. Prisco Mascarenhas' goal-bound header was cleared to safety by the Raitura defence.
Loutolim had a golden chance to level the scores when Sandip Konde created an opportunity out of nothing when he stole the ball away from his marker before lining up a shot that lacked the precision to find the target. Then Prisco Masceranhas nearly created the moment of the match when he launched a rising shot from 25 yards out but it hit the crossbar.
