Salgaocar FC (SMRC) beat Salgaocar FC (VMSB) via tie-breaker to win the El Shaddai Under 13 invitational tournament at Assagao.

Teams hailing from different parts of Goa like Sporting Clube de Goa, El Shaddai and Foot Fun Mumbai participated in the tournament and was divided into two groups and played in league system. The winners of both the groups were to compete each other in the finals.   
Salgaocar FC (SMRC) were the power house in their group as they beat Sporting Clube de Goa 4-0, Foot Fun Mumbai 6-0 and GFDC Parra 1-0 respectively. For SFC (SMRC) Sherwin Abranches, Rui Naronha, Jordan Borges, Sydney Lucas were the goal scorers throughout the tournament. Goalkeeper Rohan Gauncar kept a clean sheet throughout the group stage.  
Salgaocar FC (VMSB) topped their group by beating Dream Killers 2-1, Fun foot Mumbai 4-0 and GFDC Poira 5-0. Gangaram Kharat proved to be thorn in the rival defence and was in terrific form.Sydney Dias also added to the woes of the opponents while Shubham Velip and Reagan Fernandes added their names to the scoresheet.  In the finals, Salgaocar FC (SMRC) and Salgaocar FC (VMSB) were involved in an absorbing match but at full time the match ended in a goalless draw. In the tie-breaker Salgaocar (SMRC) emerged victors. Keeper Rohan Gauncar played a vital role in ensuring Salgaocar FC (VMSB) were kept at bay. 
Salvador Fernandes, ex Sesa player was the chief guest and witnessed the final.

Goa Police, ICSC Paroda in goalless draw

Goa Police Sports Club missed series of chances and were held to a goalless draw by Immaculate Conception Sports Club (ICSC) Paroda in the GFA First Division League at Government Village School playground, Cuncolim on Sunday.
