The race, which many consider to be one of the toughest cross-country races in India, saw Shefali finish first in the 35-50 age group category for women, while Satish finished third in the 50 plus age group category for men.
The race saw 20 runners from Goa taking part in both the 15kms and 42 kms (full marathon) categories.
The race, which is inspired by Maratha King, Shivaji Maharaj's escape from the Panhala fort in the battle of Pawankhind, is organised along the same, rugged hilly and slushy terrain in the monsoon season
each year.
