Goan shuttler Tanisha Crasto won one gold and a silver at the Infosys Foundation India International Challenge Badminton tournament in Bengaluru on Sunday.
Tanisha along with her partner Ishaan Bhatnagar from Chhattisgarh, who are the reigning junior national champions, emerged victorious in the mixed doubles event, registering a thrilling 21-16, 21-19 win over Sai Pratheek K and Gayatri Pullela Gopichand, in the six-day international tournament organised by the Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy under the aegis of Badminton Association of India, at the Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence, Bengaluru. In the women's doubles, Tanisha along with her partner Rutuparna Panda went down to Treesa Jolly/Gayatri Gopichand 21-23, 14-21 to settle for the silver.
