Sakhali recently.
On this occasion PE teacher of Radhakrishna High School Bicholim Raufkhan Pathan was also felicitated for his outstanding achievement in the field of sports.
The president of Lagori association of Goa Shubhada Sawaikar was the chief guest for the function.
Yog Sewa Mandal president Sandesh Barazankar, treasurer Kalidas Kavlekar, Bharat Swabhimaan president Kamlesh Bandekar, Gomantak Gosewak Mahasangh president Kamlakant Tari, SAG Bicholim taluka organiser Rohidas Ghadi and member Jagannath Gaonkar were among others who were present on the occasion.
Sandesh Barazankar in his address informed that their organization is organizing such programmes every year in order to encourage sportsmen and women. Shubhada Sawaikar said a sport is the best event for students to make their future bright.
Earlier, Kalidas Kavlekar welcomed the gathering. Finally, Sandeep Pednekar proposed the vote of thanks. Earlier, students of Bhagwan Mahavir High School, Honda-Sattari presented yoga demonstrations under the guidance of Yoga teacher Sulochana Barazankar.
