The highlight of the first semi-final was Franco Andrade's five-goal blitz that set up the big win for Guirim school. Down by one goal in the first half, Franco's five-goal burst set the tone after Kenrick Menezes had also scored one goal for the winners. Hrishikesh Shirodkar gave the lead in the 11th minute for SFX high school Siolim but later could not do much with the strong defence and attacking line-up of Guirim school. Langston Fernandes, Ryan Dias, James David, Cristiano Kenrick and Franco Andrade displayed some super skills with the ball. Hrishikesh Shirodkar once again scored in the second half which helped them to reduce the margin.
