St Anthony’s SC, Assolda rallied to beat Margao SC 2-1 to emerge champions in the 22nd all Goa Dando Boys Cup inter-village football
tournament organized by Dando Boys Club, Benaulim in a thrilling final at St John the Baptist Dando Ground, Benaulim on Sunday.
Margao SC to the lead in the 5th minute through Cliff Baretto when he beat the rival goalkeeper with an adroit placement. Crossing over, St Anthony’s SC levelled the score through Cruz Gomes in the 49th minute.
In the dying minutes, Moses D’Sa struck the match
winner for St Anthony’s Sports Club with a header
to troop out worthy winners.
