St Xavier’s, Quepem, Dempo and Carmel reach semis

St Xavier's College Mapusa will face Govt College Quepem and Carmel College, Nuvem will clash with S S Dempo College, Altinho in the semi-finals of inter-collegiate women football championship organized by Goa University at University ground Taleigao plateau.The semi-finals will be played on September 12 from 2 pm onwards.Results of quater-finals:

St Xavier's scored twice in each half to win 4-0 versus Don Bosco College, Panaji. Desiree Pereira (1), Alicia Fernades (1) and Krisha Lobo (2) were the scorers.

Govt College Quepem defeated Fr Agnel College, Pilar 5-0. Salma Fernades, Somaya Benkipur, Macrena Dias, Michel Castanha and Jenny Montreiro scored.

Carmel College, Nuvem beat Gaonkar College, Dharbandora 6-0. Rosehera AC (3), Lifa Tavares (2) and Yesilda Barretto (1) scored.

S S Dempo College, Altinho defeated Rosary College, Navelim 3-0. Dempos led 1-0 at half time. Leena Gaunso, Candeia Figueriedo and Indira Lamani scored.
