MARGAO: Vasco Veterans secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Goa Police to move ahead in the Pogo Boys Cup 6.0 football tournament, at Merces church ground, on Saturday.
The first goal came in the first half when Nelson capitalised on a throw-in from Rocky to put Vasco ahead.
Derrick doubled the lead with his first touch from a low cross in the second half. The final goal was the result of a fumble by the Goa Police goalkeeper, following a throw-in from Nelson, sealing the win at 3-0.
