Vivekanand HSS, Balli won the Zone IV Higher Secondary School volleyball tournament for boys, organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs. In the finals, they defeated Balram HSS, Ardhfond, Canacona 3-2 (18 -25, 25-18, 24-26, 25-21, 15-13).
The third place was bagged by Smt CT Naik HSS, Curchorem who defeated Government Higher Secondary School, Canacona 2-0 (25-21, 25-20). Earlier, in the semifinals, Balram HSS defeated Govt HSS, Canacona 2-1 (25-19, 25-27, 26-24), while in the other last-four match, Vivekananda HSS beat Smt CT Naik HSS 2-1 (25-22, 17-25, 25-22).
