YUVA’s 6-a-side football tourney inaugurated

“YUVA” a voluntary association by enthusiastic professional youth of Panaji inaugurated its 5th All Goa 6 a-side football tournament on Sunday(May 28).

Chief Guest Shantaram Naik kicked off the tournament in the presence of Nandish Karmalkar, Mihir Agshikar, Shashank Sukhthankar (Vice-President-YUVA), Akhil Prabhu Verlekar (Secretary-YUVA), Sarvesh Shetye (Treasurer-YUVA) and all the YUVA members.16 teams battled on day one of the tournament and team Jesus Nazareth emerged as first finalist for the tournament which will continue on Day 2 on June 4 on NGPDA ground, Mala-Panaji. SFA conduct ‘Football for Fun’

Sesa Football Academy organized a grassroots event “ ‘Football for Fun’ for children in the age group of 6 to 14 years at Sesa football ground in Sankhali on Sunday. The event welcomed 30 youngsters out of which 7 were girls.
