MARGAO
A five-day chess coaching camp organised by Sanguem Taluka Chess Association under the aegis of Goa Chess Association was inaugurated at the hands of Minister for Social Welfare Subhash Faldesai. Altogether 48 trainees participated in the camp. Speaking on the occasion, Faldesai said he hopes to see some players from Sanguem taluka make it to the national level. Also present were Queroz Cruz Deputy Chairperson Sanguem Municipal Council, Sharendra Naik, Secretary Goa Chess Association, Headmistress Union High School, SAG chess coach Sanjay Kavlekar, QTCA Treasurer Amrut Naik, STCA President Kishor Gauns Desai, STCA Secretary Preshit Gauns Desai, PE teachers and parents.
