The AFC Futsal Level One Coaching Course, organised by Sporting Clube de Goa in association with the Goa Football Association, has officially commenced on Tuesday at the Chowgule Futsal Arena. The course will be held from August 20 to 25.
The course will be led by Joshua Vaz as the main Coach Educator, with Socorro Vaz as the coordinator for the course. The inauguration was graced by the presence of Sporting Clube de Goa’s Director, Diago Nathan Vaz, along with CEO Welvin Menezes and Technical Director Savio Medeira. Fifteen aspiring young coaches, selected through the official portal of AIFF, are participating in this intensive training programme. This initiative is a significant step in raising the standards of Futsal coaches in Goa and in India.
During the inauguration, Welvin Menezes, CEO of Sporting Clube de Goa, expressed his gratitude to the AFC, AIFF, and GFA for their support in accepting the proposal to conduct this prestigious course in Goa.
