Police have registered a case against a minor boy on charges on sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl sometime between February and May.
The girl was living with her parents in Goa and the family resettled in Mumbai due to her father’s transfer to Mumbai.
The girl’s parents took her to a doctor after she started complaining of stomach pains in Mumbai. She was then found to be six months pregnant. The matter was then reported to the local police.
When the girl revealed the entire incident that took place in Goa, Mumbai Police registered the case and handed it over to Goa Police. Accordingly, police registered a case in the matter. During preliminary enquiries with the victim, Mumbai Police found out that the accused is a minor boy.
Further investigation is in progress.
