Accusing the government of being indifferent in solving the problems of taxi operators at Mopa airport, aggrieved taxi operators have decided to stage a protest on Thursday.
A representation to this effect was submitted to the Pernem Deputy Collector and the taxi operators have warned that if the government does not resolve this issue, a law and order problem may arise and the government would be held fully responsible.
The aggrieved taxi operators complained that although Blue Cab taxi licenses have been issued to Pednekars at Mopa airport, other counters have made it difficult for them to do business.
They claimed that taxi operators from across the State would gather in Pernem in support of the protest on Thursday.
