Ave Maria A started strong, with Norville Fernandes and Samuel Pereira scoring early goals to put them 3-0 ahead. However, the Whites clawed their way back before halftime, with Niyaz Shaik and Tyrone Goes finding the net to make it 3-2. Jasmine Baral and Abigail Gracias impressed in midfield for the Whites with their attacking play and skill.
Jovito Ratos extended Ave Maria A's lead after the break, but Goes wouldn't be denied. Two more goals from him completed his hat-trick and leveled the score at 4-4. Aden Furtado and Ifino Noronha were solid defensively for Ave Maria A, with Noronha pulling off some key saves. Eswein Rodrigues also shone in goal for the Whites, keeping them in the contest. Shib provided dangerous crosses for the A team, but it was Abigail Gracias who had the final say.
