Agxem Sports Club dominated Paldem Sports Club 3-0 to secure a spot in the semifinals of the Late Roque Fernandes Memorial 9-a-side football tournament, organised by Fondegal Sports Club, at St. Alex Church ground, Curtorim.
Both teams displayed attacking styles with numerous opportunities. However, Paldem Sports Club squandered their chances, while Agxem capitalised on their opportunities. Elroy Gomes scored the opening goal for Agxem, giving them a 1-0 lead at halftime.
Agxem continued their dominance in the second half, adding two more goals. Nickson Castanah and Steven Fernandes found the net to extend their lead and secure the victory.
Steven Fernandes was awarded the man of the match trophy by Melvin Mascarenhas.
