Bardez move to quarters

Bardez Veterans trounced Varca Veterans 4-0 and moved to the quarter-finals of 20th Flame of Unity veterans football tournament, at Mabai ground, Per-Seraulim, on Wednesday.

Mapusa veterans opened the score-line through Ritesh Pongan in the eighth minute. The second goal came in the 20th minute through Pratab Gawas. As the match progressed, in the second half, Mapusa fired two more goals through Alexander and Bobby Crasto respectively.
