MARGAO: Canacona Sports and Cultural Club sealed a place in the finals of Fr.Gervasio Pinto inter village football tournament by defeating Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda 1-0, at Figueiredo ground, Pontemol Curchorem, on Monday.

Both teams played attacking soccer and got equal opportunity but Canacona Sports And Cultural Club got the much needed goal through their striker Chaitan Komarpant in the 36th minutes to book place in the finals.

Anand Rodrigues club member presented the man of the match award to Chaitan Komarpant of Canacona Sports and Cultural Club.
