Panaji: East Bengal FC has announced that Carles Cuadrat is stepping down as the Head Coach. In his place, Bino George will take over as the interim coach for the time being. The club has said that more updates about the coaching situation will be provided later.
Cuadrat played an important role in the team's success earlier this year, helping them win the Kalinga Super Cup. He also guided the team to a second-place finish in last year’s Durand Cup.
Vibhash Vardhan Agarwal from the Emami Group thanked Cuadrat for his leadership, particularly for leading the team to victory in the Kalinga Super Cup and helping them qualify for AFC continental competitions after a long gap. He wished Cuadrat all the best in his future career.
The club has also called on fans to support interim coach Bino George and continue cheering for the team as they aim for better results in upcoming matches.
