Nevertheless, he believed FC Goa deserved to qualify for the next round.
In the second half, FC Goa's strategy was clear: to continue attacking and aim for a third goal. They anticipated Chennaiyin FC to become more offensive, creating spaces for them to exploit. Despite Chennaiyin FC creating some chances, FC Goa executed their game plan well and emerged victorious.
