PANAJI
Dayanand High School emerged victorious in the 7-a-Side Football League Tournament, clinching the title with a narrow 1-0 win in the finals through a penalty. The tournament, organised by the Chodan Super School Complex, was held at Saude Ground, Chorao.
St. Bartholomew’s High School, Chorao finished as runners-up, while St. Aloysius High School, Divar and Our Lady of Divar High School, Divar secured third and fourth places, respectively.
The tournament was successfully conducted under the leadership of the Chodan Super School Complex, headed by Raghuvir and Premavati Salkar Higher Secondary School, Chorao, with guidance from PE Teacher Jaganath Ghatwal.
The event was graced by Soniya Vaibhav Salkar as the Chief Guest and Geeta Pramod Salkar as the Guest of Honour. Also present were Premanand Mahambare, President of the Chorao Educational Society, and Sandeep Sawal, Principal.
