Dempo Cricket Club took a first-innings lead of 149 runs. In their second innings, Dempo reached 16 for 2 in 4 overs, extending their overall lead to 165 runs on the penultimate day of the Goa Premier Division League 2025“26 final match, organized by the Goa Cricket Association. The day-night match with a pink ball is being played at the GCA Academy Ground in Porvorim.

Replying to Dempo's first-innings total of 646 for 9 declared, Chowgule Sports Club were all out for 497 in 111.3 overs on Friday.

Chasing a huge total, Chowgule Sports Club got off to a good start. Gauresh Kambli scored a patient century of 105 runs. Captain Darshan Misal played a fighting knock of 123 runs to keep his team in the contest, while Felix Alemao contributed 75 runs. However, the other batters failed to convert their starts. For Dempo, Mohit Yadav bowled accurately and claimed 5 wickets for 115 runs, breaking the backbone of Chowgule's batting. He received good support from Abhinav Tej Rana, who took 3 wickets. As a result, Chowgule’s first innings ended at 497 in 110.3 overs.

Earlier, Dempo Cricket Club won the toss and opted to bat first. After losing two early wickets, the middle order staged a strong recovery. Abhinav Tej Rana steadied the innings with a composed 70 runs. Aman Dhooper then accelerated the scoring with an aggressive 124. However, the turning point of the match was captain Snehal Kauthankar's magnificent innings. He scored a marathon 241 runs, dominating the Chowgule bowlers with a flurry of boundaries. In the middle order, Jeevan Chittem added a patient 101 runs to register a century. Quick runs from the lower order helped Dempo post a formidable 646 for 9 in 150.2 overs. For Chowgule, Shubham Desai and Darshan Misal took three wickets each.
