Excel Rovers Loutolim got the better of Navelim Veterans 5-2 and moved into the semi-final of the Nuvem Inter-Village Veterans Cup organised by Nuvem Veterans at Jesus Mary Joseph Church ground Nuvem on Wednesday. Frankie the goalkeeper of Navelim too did a commendable job under the bar.
Johny D’Cruz of Excel Rovers was the star of the match with his dribbling and scored a hat-trick in the 6th, 9th and 12th minute respectively. Lourenco netted a goal for Excel Rovers in the 21st minute made it 4-0 for Excel Rovers after that Melvin made it 5-0 for Excel Rovers. Navelim Veterans in the second half netted two quick goals through Sukhdev Arvade and Newton Fernandes in the 48th and 56th minute.
