The Goa Cricket Association is pleased to announce a Coaching Workshop for Goans who aspire to be coaches, scheduled to be held on the October 10, 11, and 12.
This initiative by GCA aims to identify and develop local talent interested in pursuing cricket coaching as a professional career, with a special focus on training individuals to coach junior cricketers across the state.
The workshop will feature a blend of theory and practical sessions, ensuring participants gain comprehensive knowledge of both the technical and teaching aspects of the game. It will be conducted by academy experts from across India, who will share their valuable insights, methods, and experiences to help participants enhance their understanding of modern coaching techniques.
Speaking about the initiative, the President Mahesh Dessai said, "Our aim is to build a strong pool of qualified coaches in Goa who can nurture young cricketers and contribute to the long-term growth of the game in the state. This workshop is an excellent opportunity for cricket enthusiasts to transform their passion into a profession.”
