Seraulim Parish Youth edged past Arossim Parish Youth with a narrow 1“0 victory in the Goal Fest 3.0 inter-parish football tournament, hosted by Varca Parish Youth at the Varca Sports Club Ground. The event saw enthusiastic participation and was graced by Bibiano Fernandes, Head Coach of the Indian National U-19 Football Team, as the special guest.
Selroy Fernandes scored the decisive goal and was named Best Player of the Final, while Anderson Almeida was adjudged the Best Goalkeeper.
In the Girls’ Tie Breaker final, Varca Parish Youth emerged victorious against Telaulim Parish Youth, clinching the title in front of their home crowd.
The prize distribution ceremony was conducted by Bibiano Fernandes and Fr. Jason Travasso, Parish Youth Animator, who commended the spirit and talent displayed throughout the tournament.
