St Sebastian SC Mapusa trounced Laxmi Prasad SC with a decisive 5-1 victory at Moira, in a dominant display in the GFA Third Division League on Sunday.
After a goalless first half, St Sebastian SC came alive in the second, with Yuvraj Harijan breaking the deadlock in the 50th minute. The floodgates opened soon after, with Avez Choudhari, Anthony Viegas, Anford Fernandes, and Daued Maldar adding to the scoreline, securing a commanding win for the Mapusa side.
Laxmi Prasad SC managed a consolation goal deep into stoppage time, as Malikrehan Sounor converted a penalty in the 93rd minute.
The match was not without its disciplinary moments, with Yuvraj Harijan of St Sebastian SC and Sahil Mulgoakar of Laxmi Prasad SC both receiving yellow cards, while Aires Fernandes of St Sebastian SC was sent off with a red card.
Meanwhile, United Ucassaim delivered an equally strong performance, defeating Ucassaim SC 4-1 in another match at Duler.
