A Goa Olympic Association (GOA) delegation comprising of secretary general Gurudatta Bhakta, and members, Mac Vaz, Sunil Morajkar, Rajendra Godinho and Sandeep Heble, felicitated V M Prabhudesai, following his appointment as Director in the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs.
"Sports Authority of Goa (SAG) is in the process of clearing the grants that are due to athletes and Associations shortly. The prize money for Goan athletes who have excelled at the national and international level will be cleared immediately," said Prabhudesai, the Executive Director SAG, who is due for retirement next year.
"There are so many plans in my mind; mentoring young students and sportspersons, writing books and so much more that I want to pursue," he said.
