The Sports Cell of Goa Police concluded their 2nd Inter Unit and Sub Division Badminton Champoinship 2024, with the MT section winning the championship after defeating Crime branch 2-0 sets. The third place was bagged by Konkan Railway who defeated IRB 2-1 in sets. All together 30 teams within the Goa Police department took part in the Championship.
A special championship was also organised for all the Gazatted Officers of the Goa Police department. SDPO Cancona Tikam Singh won the singles title by defeating DYSP Wilson Dsouza of MT Section.
DGP Goa Jaspal Singh was the chief guest who gave away the prizes to the winners in distinguished presence of SP Suchita Dessai, SP Kiran Powdwal, SP Sports Smt Sunita Sawant , DYSP Sports Shri Shivram Vaigankar and PI Sports Ria Naik at the Campal Indoor Stadium.
