The 8th edition of the Goa Police Inter Unit/Divisional Football Tournament was inaugurated on Monday by IGP Goa, Omvir Singh, at the PHQ grounds in Panaji. The event, organised by the Goa Police Sports Cell, saw the presence of SP Sports Dharmesh Angley, DYSP Sports Shivram Vaigankar, PI Sports Raia Naik, and PSI Jitendra Sinari. During his address, IGP Singh emphasised the importance of maintaining fitness through sports and commended the Sports Cell for their efforts in organising the tournament. He also demonstrated his own football skills on the field.
