The Kshatriya Maratha Premier League (KMPL) season 3 culminated in a nail-biting final match, with Maratha Warriors Pernem emerging victorious.
The Maratha Warriors Pernem dominated the final chasing down a target of 45 runs set by Kshatriya Strikers with ease. Their batting prowess was on full display, as they reached the target in just 5 overs without losing a single wicket. Guruprasad Aroskar, the star batsman for Maratha Warriors, was instrumental in their win. His exceptional batting performance not only secured him the Man of the Final award but also earned him the prestigious title of Best Batsman for consistent excellence throughout the tournament.
Despite reaching the finals, Kshatriya Strikers fell short in their chase. They could only manage 44 runs on the board while losing 6 wickets in the process.
Sahil Gauns of Kshatriya Strikers was awarded a gold coin prize which was the award for the Man of the Series, sponsored by Rajesh Faldesai, MLA of Cumbarjua constituency.
Mohit Gaonkar of Shiv Shambhu Brigade received the Bowler of the Series award for claiming 7 wickets in the tournament.
The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Subhash Fal Dessai, Minister of Social Welfare who wasthe chief guest, while Ulhas Tuenkar, MLA of Navelim Constituency was the guest of honour.
