Murida Fatorda Veterans pipped IIhas Veterans 1-0 to enter the finals of 2nd Our Lady Of Fatima Veteran Football Cup, organised by Our Lady of Fatima Sports and Cultural Club Baida Chinchinim, at Our Lady of Hope Church ground, Chinchinim, on Wednesday.
Prashant of Ilhas Veterans missed to score from close range in 16th minute. at half time both teams remained on 0-0.
Changing over, both teams were on attack mode and tried to score but failed. It was Caitano Dias who scored the match winner in the 41st minute off a beautiful header. They will now meet Benaulim Veterans in the finals on November 26.
