MARGAOHosts Parra Veterans blanked Arambol Veterans 2-0 to enter the quarterfinals of the Parra Veterans Football Tournament organised in memory of Peter D’Souza and played at PVC Ground, Parra on Wednesday. Seby Fernandes and Prashant Fondekar scored a goal each for Parra Veterans. Constanciao Rodrigues of Arambol Veterans was declared as Man of the Match.

MARGAOChandor Club drubbed Uguem Rising Club 4-0 in Group C Salcete Zone GFA Third Division League at Chandor Church Ground on Wednesday. Chandor Club led 1-0 at the breather. Chandor dominated the game and pushed their opponents on the back foot. The deadlock was broken in the 6th minute through Shawn Pereira.
