Pax of Nagoa Sports Club registered a solitry goal win against Sporting Clube de Goa 1-0 in the Reliance Foundation Development league, at SAG ground, Utorda, on Saturday.
Both the teams displayed attacking brand of soccer and had equal number of scoring chances but their forwads wasted chance from close range.
Crossing over, both the teams showed urgency but the defenders stood tall in protecting their citadel intact with the match heading for tame draw. Pax of Nagoa struck the match winner when Sherwin Abranches found the roof of the net in the 90th plus two minutes.
