Goa are placed in the elite group in Group E along with Punjab, Railways, Rajasthan and Services in the Ranji Cricket Championship, which will begin on January 13, at six different venues. Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Thiruvananthapuram and Chennai will host the matches of group stage while Kolkata will host the knock stage of the tournament including the final. Assam are placed in the matches of Elite Group ‘A’ will be held in Mumbai. BCCI also announced the schedule of the Vijay Hazare Cricket Championship which will start from December 8.
