Dr Mohammed Fahed VP and co-driver Rajeev Lal from Kerala retained their lead on Day 3 of the Rainforest Challenge (RFC) India 2022 underway in Goa.
As per the provisional results, Dr Fahed and Lal topped the leaderboard with 942 points out of 1200 based on 12 of the 26 special stages (SS) of the competition. Satish Kumar and Chethan Chengappa from Karnataka, Kabir Waraich and Dushyant Khosla from Chandigarh and N Abinav Reddy and Vishuthi Varun from Telangana retained their second, third and fourth positions respectively. At the end of Day 3, these three teams had 920, 912 and 813 points respectively.
With a good performance on Day 3, which included a perfect 100 in SS 12 and 90 points in SS 9, Dattaraj Raut Dessai and Siddesh Yadav Naik from Goa climbed up three spots to grab the fifth position with 760 points.
