Rotary Club of Panaji beat Rotary Club of Dona Paula 6-5 on penalties to win 7th All Goa Rotary Turf Football tournament played at Don Bosco ground, Panaji.
The tourney generated keen interest from enthusiasts of 14 Rotary clubs in Goa. The clubs played with great fervour producing major upsets before the two North Goa clubs set up the title clash. Post full-time, both the teams were goalless and the result was decided through penalties. Rotary Club of Panaji (RCP) prevailed 6-5 in the shootout. Siddhesh Shetye of RCP was named as the Best goalkeeper of the tournament while the Golden Boot was awarded to Suraj Bhomkar of RCP. Ryan Prazeres of the Rotary Club of Dona Paula was named the Player of the Tournament.
