The Sports Authority of Goa felicitated two employees, Vitoba Velipo Zauraunkar (plant operator) from Fatorda Swimming Pool Complex and Venkatesh Thali (watchman) posted at Peddem Swimming Pool Complex, retiring from service on superannuation.
The two employees were felicitated at the hands of newly appointed Executive Director Ajay Gaude in the presence of Shankar Gaonkar (Director Administration), Sanjay Walvekar (Chief Engineer), Pradeep Mirajkar (Joint Director Accounts), Monica Dourado (Asst Director) and other officers.
Zaraunkar joined SAG in 1994 and served the organisation for 27 years at various swimming pool complexes like Fatorda, Mapusa, Quepem and Campal. Thali joined SAG in 1996 and has completed 26 years at Peddem Swimming Complex. The programme was organised by the Farewell Committee of SAG, and was attended by the staff and compered by Nilesh Naik (Zone In-charge 6).
