Hosts Sporting Club Davorlim entered the semi-finals of the 15th Davorlim Cup organised by Sporting Club Davorlim at Davorlim Panchayat ground by defeating Carmona Sports Club 4-0 on Sunday.
In an exciting quarter-final, Carmona started the match with a fast pace and tried to hit the target. Carmona came closer to scoring but Stanford Fernandes shot into the hands of Davorlim goalkeeper Francisco Colaco in the 7th minute.
On the other hand, Davorlim's Royson sent a through pass to Milton Colaco whose powerful shot found the Carmona net in the 25th minute. Before the half-time whistle, Ajay Raj of Davorlim scored with a powerful header.
In the second session, both Milton Colaco and Ajay Raj completed their brace in the 45th and 52nd minutes of play and made the issue safe for Sporting Club Davorlim. Martin Rocha presented the Man of the match prize to Milton Colaco of Sporting Club Davorlim
