Senior Citizens FC (North) emerged triumphant with a resounding 5-0 victory against Shimoga Seniors in an exhibition football match held at the Astro Turf ground in Santa Cruz, on . The goal scorers of the match were the dynamic trio of Bernard Simões, Lourenço Coelho, and Agnelo Fernandes.
The event was graced by the presence of chief guest Santa Cruz MLA Rudolph Fernandes and guest of honour former Salgaocar goalkeeper Sanjiv Nagvenkar. Prizes were distributed to the visitors and the outstanding player, Bernard Simões, by the esteemed guests. Hilary Fernandes, the President of Senior Citizens FC, extended a warm welcome to the gathering, while Allen D'Sà , Vice President of the club, expressed gratitude to the enthusiastic audience.
