Sesa Football Academy thumped Panjim Footballers with a resounding 5-0 triumph in the Goa Professional League, at Duler Stadium, on Tuesday.
The first half witnessed Sankalp's artistry as he soared above defenders to connect flawlessly with Beckham's precision cross setting the stage for a 1-0 lead at half-time. Despite Veli narrowly missing a goal, Sesa maintained their dominance.
The second half showcased a relentless onslaught. Substitute Chaitan's seamless combination with Joshua resulted in a clinical goal marking the beginning of Panjim Footballers' unraveling. Umang's dangerous cross led to Joshua's second while Chaitan's playmaking prowess set up Aman Rajbhag for another goal.
The final blow came from Chaitan's brilliant cross which was met with Aman's clinical header. The comprehensive 5-0 victory cements Sesa's status as a formidable force in the league.
In a parallel fixture at Nagoa ground, FC Goa dominated Vasco SC with a convincing 6-0 victory. Lemmet Tangvah stole the spotlight by scoring four goals, while Gogocha Chungkham and Bryson Pereira contributed to the comprehensive win. With this result, FC Goa climbed to the second spot in the league standings with 10 points from five games, while Vasco SC remained in 11th position with 3 points.
In U-13 Division I, Guardian Angel SC and Vasco SC recorded huge wins. While Guardian Angel SC beat Geno FC 20-3; Vasco SC downed Sporting Clube de Goa 7-4.
In the U-13 Div II League, Goa United SA beat Bidesh XI SC 14-1. YSC Colvale downed The Anjuna Gymkhana 2-0. Dunes SC humbled Laxmi Prasad SC 15-1.
