Sinquerim SC beat Saligao Sporting 3-1 via the tiebreaker to enter the quarterfinals of the FC Tuem Champions Trophy, 1st inter-village football tournament, organised by FC Tuem in association with CAM group of Companies at DSYA ground, Tuem. Both the teams were goalless at the half time. Post resumption, Pratik Tirodkar of Sinquerim tapped the rebound ball in the rival goal in the 38th minute. Thereafter Saligao Sporting kept on putting pressure on the rival defence. When it looked like Sinquerim will win the match comfortably Sachidanand Satelkar scored in the 70th minute to make it 1-1. In the tiebreaker, Sinquerim SC scored through Mitesh Hoble, Prajyot Gaoankar and Prabhakar Maulinkar while Kenrick Menezes was the lone scorer for Saligao Sporting.
