St Anthony’s HS, Duler beat Govt. HS, Keri in the shootout 5-4 in the Junior Nehru Girls Hockey tournament organised by by DYSA at Peddem Sports Complex, Mapusa. The full time score was 2-2.
Varsha scored two goals, Jiya, Amisha and Rasika scored one goal each for the Duler school while Saloni scored two goals, while Amita and Mayusha scored a goal each for the Kerim school team.
In the third place match, Govt HS, Morlem beat Our Lady of Lourdes HS, Utorda 9-0. Sindiya scored three goals, Tanvi and Aparna scored two goals each and Siddhi and Gayatri scored one goal each. St Anthony’s will now represent Goa in the national tournament in Delhi.
