MARGAO
Team SAG Campal emerged as the overall team champions at the Guru Shree 3.0 All Goa Deadlift Championship, organised by Progressive Cortalim on January 25, 2026, clinching the title for the second consecutive year.
A total of 21 lifters participated in the championship, with Team SAG Campal delivering a dominant performance by winning an impressive 20 medals overall. Their medal haul included 11 gold, five silver and four bronze medals, which sealed their supremacy and the coveted overall team championship trophy.
The team’s success was achieved under the expert guidance of coach Tanuj Kinalkar and Lavu Govekar, whose training and mentorship played a key role in the athletes’ strong showing.
Adding to the team’s glory, Anshwi Badiger was crowned Strongest Woman (Senior Category), further highlighting Team SAG Campal’s dominance at the championship.
