The Wolf Squad defeated Orange Tiger 2-0 in the final of the 8-a-side friendly football league organised by Friends of Kuncoliem in association with Friends of Akar Warrior at Kuncoliem Ground, Mardol, Ponda. Rudresh Gaude of The Wolf Squad scored in the 7th minute giving no chance to Orange Tiger's Goalkeeper Kisan Akarkar. Orange Tiger tried their level best for an equaliser. In the second half, Mukesh Naik of the Wolf Squad doubled their lead in the 17th minute. Best Goalkeeper of the League was handed to Kisan Akarkar (Orange Tiger), Top Scorer was clinched by Manthan Kuncoliekar (The Wolf Squad), Best Defender went to Rudresh Gaude (The Wolf Squad) and Best Striker was awarded to Shubam Akarkar (Orange Tiger). Chief Guest, President of Kuncoliem Sports Club Shrikant Gaude gave away the prizes in the presence of Vice President of Akar Warrior Rohidas Gaude and other dignitaries.
