Third Division: Holiday SC hammer Adarsh YS 10-0

Holiday SC humbled Adarsh Yuvak Sangh 10-0 in the GFA Third Division League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa on Friday.

Sneiden Fernandes scored a hat-trick while Sagar Gaonkar, Bhavesh Gawas and Joster Dsouza scored a brace each. Kalpesh was the other goal getter for the winners.

At Tuem, ABC SC Arambol beat Bhumika SC 4-2. Vishal Talkar netted a brace while Domacian Dmello and Dalwin Coelho were the other scorers for the winning team. Bablo Harmalkar and Omkar Sawant netted for Bhumika.

At Nerul ground, Nerul Sports Club beat Silver Sand Candolim 3-0. Lakeshore Kurtikar, Devon Sangelkar and Pandurang Naik scored for the winners.

Pearl hat-trick powers Compassion FC
A superb hat-trick by Pearl Fernandes led Compassion Football Academy to a fluent 5-0 victory against Telangana Sports School, Hyderabad in the 2nd Inspire Cup All India Inter Academy Girls under-16 football tournament.

The hat-trick also won Pearl the player of match award in the second league match of tournament organised by the Rural Development Trust’s Anantpur Sports Academy at Anantpur in Andhra Pradesh.

Fatima Braganza and Moncy Vaz were the other scorers for the Goan team as they topped the pool with six points from two matches. The team has four matches to play in the round robin league to secure qualification for the finals. They play the next match against YUWA from Ranchi, who are also strong contenders for the title in the second edition of the tournament.
