United Club of Bogmalo edged past Chicalim Sports Club 2-1 in the GFA second Division League at Cansaulim ground, on Wednesday.
UC Bogmalo held upper hand in the opening session and surged ahead in the 24th minute through Arman Yadav. Spurred by the early success, Bogmalo continued to dictate terms but their misfired from close range.
After the break, Chicalim showed fight and in the 52nd minute Ussen Dessai levelled the score the match heading for a draw UC Bogmalo struck the match winner through Ajay Patil in the injury time.
