Warriors Women FC Goa were crowned champions of Utkarsha 7-a-side women's football tournament after a 3-0 victory over Maatru Prashistana in the women's football tournament organised by JUFC at BBMP ground.
Warriors FC dominated the game right from the word go and pushed their opponents on the back foot throughout the match. The highlight of the match was a brilliant brace by Aditi Jhadav while Alisha Tavares scored the third for the winners.
In the semi-finals, Warriors FC dubbed Manas FC 2-0 with Anjali scoring both the goals.
In earlier league matches, Warriors FC edged past FBRD 1-0. Aroshi Givekar struck the match-winner. In the second match, Warriors FC blanked Halayal FC 2-0 as Alkali and Aditi Jhadav accounted for a goal each.
