A CII press note informed that a high impact training program on energy efficient system & energy efficient design considerations is scheduled on October 12-13 at Taj Vivanta in Panaji.
This program is aimed at helping organizations in becoming energy efficient, which will ultimately bring down their cost. Even earlier, CII Goa has reached out to industry and helped companies in reducing their energy needs by 10-30% through its CII Centre of Excellence for Competitiveness.
CII Goa informed that this training program will benefit design managers & consultants, project & maintenance personnel, production personnel, energy managers/auditors/engineers, research & development personnel.
Interesting topics will be covered in this program, which include approach
to energy management & design, energy efficient
design / selection / operation of utility system, energy efficient thermal system and solar concentrator for industrial applications among several others.
Focus on energy efficiency is of paramount importance especially when the economy is slowing down. In such a situation, cost savings become really crucial.
CII further informed that the faculty for the training program are experienced energy auditors (certified by Bureau of Energy Efficiency), who have extensive experience in conducting detailed energy audits in over 450
companies.
