GCCI organizing course on import/export

Course on import and export

PANAJI: Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) is organising a two-day certificate course on export and import management on October 29 and 30. The course is organised in collaboration with Federation of Indian Exports Organizations (FIEO). The course is aimed at junior and middle level managerial staff, who are dealing with import and export. Training will be imparted on various stages of import and export regarding several procedures and compliances necessary within India and outside the country.

Nakul VB will be the resource person. GCCI official confirmed that 47 participants have already confirmed their participation. The venue for the event is GCCI Convention hall, 3rd Floor, GCCI, Azad Maidan, Panaji.

'Sin tax' for alcohol, tobacco industries in GST regime

PTI New Delhi Alcohol and tobacco industries will have to pay more taxes towards an additional 'sin tax' under the proposed GST structure that seeks to bring in a uniform indirect tax regime across the country.
